excellent for digestive problems, nursing mothers particularly if the baby has colic, throat and gum problems, uri and kidney stones, menstrual problems, pms, detox and duretic, eye wash for conjunctivitis and is a cooling herb. 
fennel can be used in food, tea, tinctures, smoked or used topically.
