Peanut butter and turmeric slice anti inflammatory immune booster

Published on 31 January 2026 at 14:29

This one is for the mums with fussy kids that need an immune boost going back to school! I don’t know about you but getting the kids to eat fruit n veg is hard work so I sneak nutrition into anything where I can and this one is an excellent way to fight inflammation and infection while thinking they are eating a treat ! Because it actually does taste THAT good and you can have in made in under 10mins !!
Recipie below 👇🏻

Peanut butter tumeric slice

Ingredients ( wet)
1.5 cup peanut butter
1 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup honey

Ingredients (dry)
3 cups of your favorite cereal ( we used some musli and cornflakes in this one but so many work and its a great way to up cereal not one wants anymore !! )
1/2 cup whey protien ( vanilla works well)
1/2 cup favorite nuts and seeds ( chia and pepitas are my fave)
1 heaped tablespoon tumeric

Optional - dark chocolate chips to sprinkle on top ! Cause who doesn’t like chocolate!

instructions :
1. Melt “wet” ingredients in microwave until all smooth. Using 30second increments and mixing occasionally.

2. Add in “dry” ingredients mix until all fully combined.

3. Line a slice tray with baking paper pour ur mixture in and press VERY firmly into the tin (so it all squashes together nicely and you avoid crumbling ) you can do this with the back of your spatula or pop another bit of baking paper over the top and press down ! If you want choc chips pop them on top give it another gentle press down so they stick !

4. Pop it in the fridge for an hr or so when it’s firm it’s ready to slice up and enjoy !

While this slice is highly nutritious and delicious it’s quite calorie dense so bare in mind when cutting your slice sizes and make them a little smaller if this is a concern, then try stopping at one 😉
